What if we could look beyond our religious faith and recognize that the things that are Caesar is for our civil government to treat everyone equally. What if we all had the courage to stand up and fight for another group’s civil rights? What if marriage had more to do with love and commitment than who you were? What if we rejected the Pro-8 folks appeals to fear, and were confident enough in ourselves to allow gays and lesbians to marry knowing no harm will be done. What if we were just as enlightened as Iowa?
