Keep These Buddies Together
April 10, 2009
This is Morgana, a nine month old female tabby mix and Frieda, a two year old female Chihuahua. They were huddled together in a backpack as they were released to the Marin Humane Society. Their owner lost her home as the result of the economic downturn.
“Frieda and Morgana are best friends, so we want to find them a home where they can be together,” says Carrie Harrington, Communications Manager. “Bonded pairs of the same species are not unusual. But adopting an already bonded cat/dog pair is rare – and very special.”
The Marin Humane Society (171 Bel Marin Keys Blvd., Novato) will begin accepting applications for Frieda and Morgana on Saturday morning. Shelter hours are 10 am to 5 pm (open on Easter Sunday). The adoption fee for the pair is $225.
