Brother Can You Spare A Clue Edition

Thanks to the republicans, we are a lot closer to living the hobo lifestyle  — partying at the soup kitchen line. Woohoo! I had no idea that when Bush wanted to make this an ownership society, that we would all end up owning companies that hold toxic debt.  What a deal! Thanks to Wonkette, I found a website that will allow Americans to let the government buy their worthless junk. I am dubious of the plan to bail out people who gamed the system and enriched themselves at the economy’s expense. Anyone who didn’t have a stake in this whole credit mess, could see this was coming way before it happened. The whole house of cards was going to fall down. There needs to be accountability. CEO’s and upper management of these firms we are supposed to bail should be stripped of all golden parachutes and harshly kicked to the curb. The architects of these toxic “financial instruments” and bad loans should feel the brutal consequences of their actions.  Maybe then people will think twice when they come up with a “clever” way to game the system, and stick to developing companies that offer a real product or service.

Anyone who votes for Mccain/Palin is just rewarding the people who brought us this economic disaster. It is insane that anyone would trust people who created this mess to clean it up.
