Parents and Community Rally to Save Our Schools Friday

This Friday, April 25th parents and community members will rally local
representatives at the Civic Center (Jury Parking Lot) at 3:30 pm as part of the PTA Flunk-the-Budget Fridays and organized by Save Our Schools. There will be speakers from 3:30 pm to 4:00. Scheduled speakers include: Joe Nation, Carol Migden, Mark Leno, Mary Jane Burke, Jared Huffman, Sammy Hagar, the guys from Journe, parents, Gabe Oates (TL junior) and a Miller Creek student. High school students from Novato, San Marin, and San Rafael will also be attending. The event will end at 5pm.

The proposed reduction of $4.8 billion in funding from the State of
California for the education of our children is unacceptable. It is a
direct attack on the students who represent the future of our community,
state, nation and world. Please join us.
