This weekend there is a convention for the California Democratic Party and we are monitoring the buzz from the event. It seems that our own State Senate candidates are stealing the show. In fact, the whole question on CDP’s endorsement of CD3 State Senate. In fact, Frank D. Russo at California Progress Report observed, “It would be ironic if this convention on the same morning as it approves a platform supporting “clean money” and campaign contribution reform, endorses Migden.”

Kethryvis reports that Leno was able to overturn a party endorsement by a huge margin — 298 votes for the endorsement and 742 votes to overturn.

Oh yeah…Bill was there.

Leno handed out literature reminding everyone of Migden’s 89 violations of campaign financing law and announcing an endorsement of Speaker Fabian Nunez.

Did Carole Migden really meltdown? Did Carole Migden actually say women should vote for women and then call heavy female Leno supporters “heavy guys“?
