Mark Leno on Global Warming

Mark Leno is running for State Senate against incumbent Carole Migden and Joe Nation. The election for California State Senate is on June 3, 2008.

Randy Shaw from the California Progress Report and Fogcityjournal have reported on a poll taken recently that was commissioned by Mark Leno by David Binder Research. It shows a close race between Mark Leno and Joe Nation with Carole Migden being in third place. This survey was conducted between February 17th and 21st of 500 Democrats from Senate District 3 whom are most likely to vote. When voters are initially asked who they are supporting, 27% say they support Joe Nation and 24% support Mark Leno. On the initial ask, only 17% stated support for Migden. After pro and con arguments were offered, the Nation-Leno numbers switched with Migden still only getting 17%. Joe Alito Veronese was at 7% and 10%, but has dropped out of the race. About 25% are still undecided.
