Join us tonight for the first professionally staged reading in the Playwrights’ Lab fall season, Gather the Women by Lynne Kaufman.  The play is a witty and compelling exploration of how women can change the world – and have fun trying.

Directed by Jessica Heidt.

The performance is followed by open conversation with the audience, the playwright, the director and the actors. The Playwrights’ Lab is the new plays development arm of 142 Throckmorton and includes a dozen Bay Area playwrights who meet regularly to discuss and critique each other’s work.  All readings are produced with professional actors and directors and observe the Actors Equity Staged Reading code.
